The College Scholarships Minority research will focus on data from 11 687 persons who returned a baseline questionnaire and examined gave permission for their medical records within the North Staffordshire Osteoarthritis Project (NorStOP) collected. This is a unique opportunity to spread the relationship between pain provides explore, levels of physical activity and long-term outcomes, including mortality. The College Scholarships Minority aim of the thesis is to (1) to examine the strength of the relationship between pain and widespread incidence and mortality and (2) the potential mechanisms linking widespread pain and cancer.
College Scholarships Minority Eligibility: Good (2:1 or higher) in the first degree in a science / mathematics, psychology or a field of health (including reading, writing and arithmetic).
